Unbeatens OCP, Windermere Prep vie for SSAC title

Orlando Christian Prep and Windermere Prep will face off for the Sunshine State Athletic Conference football championship on Saturday night at 7 at Master's Academy in Oviedo.

Two undefeated teams, Orlando Christian Prep (10-0) and Windermere Prep (9-0), will play for the Sunshine State Athletic Conference football championship on Saturday night at 7 at Master’s Academy in Oviedo. It is the finale of the league’s three-week Florida Bowl series.

arlier games on Saturday have First Academy Leesburg (6-4) vs. WPB Berean Christian (7-2) at 11 a.m.; Mount Dora Bible (8-1) vs. Naples Community School (8-2) at 1:30; and Central Florida Christian Academy (8-2) vs. Seffner Christian (5-4) of Hillsborough County at 4.

Mike Bonneville, who took over a CFCA program that was 23-75 with zero winning seasons and guided the Eagles to a Beach Division runner-up finish was voted SSAC Coastal League Coach of the Year. 

 Windermere Prep’s Jacob Doss is the Coral League Coach of the Year.

Conference awards will be presented at 3:15 on Saturday.
