The SSAC is excited to announce that Jim Hoffman has been brought onboard to head our new Girls Beach Volleyball League. This will be the first high school league in the state of Florida. Jim is an expert in this sport of GBVB and we are truly thankful to have him!

Jim has been involved beach volleyball for over 40 years, both as a player and coach. He is a past gold medalist in the Huntsman World Games and currently still plays on the national level, traveling around the U.S. for tournaments.

On top of playing beach volleyball, Jim has coached it at the Middle School, High School and Junior College level for over 20 years. He is the current Director of the Big House Volleyball Juniors in Tavaras, Florida and the indoor Volleyball Coach along with his daughter at her Alma Mater, Leesburg High School. Additionally, he was awarded the Volleyball Ambassador Award by USA Volleyball’s Florida Region.

Volleyball runs in Jim’s family with both daughters (Alisha and Sara) being standout players in high school and college.

Jim’s main philosophies are to encourage participants and spectators to enjoy the experience and remember it is a lifetime game. We emphasize the motto "Play It Forward" to continue to expand the sport and teaching love of the game. "Share the Passion. Cherish the Friendships."
